Privacy Policy

Helix Intel AI, LLC ("Helix," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Helix social media intelligence platform available at helixintel.ai (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, business or organization details, and login credentials.

Connected social platform information. The Service works by connecting to social media accounts you own or are authorized to manage (for example LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and Threads). When you connect an account through the platform's authorization (OAuth) flow, we receive and store:

• Access and refresh tokens issued by the platform, which let us act on your behalf. These are encrypted at rest. We never receive or store your platform passwords.
• Account identifiers and metadata — account IDs, display names, and profile URLs for the accounts you connect.
• Content and engagement information we read from your connected accounts to provide analysis and to publish on your behalf.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card or bank details directly; Helix does not receive or store your full payment card or bank account numbers. We retain only opaque Stripe identifiers (such as a customer ID) needed to manage your subscription.

Usage information. We collect standard technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages accessed, and interaction logs — to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We use the information above to:

• provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• connect to and act on your authorized social accounts, including analyzing content and publishing on your behalf at your direction;
• generate the derived intelligence, patterns, and insights that are the core of the Service;
• process subscriptions, billing, and related communications;
• secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations;
• communicate with you about your account, service changes, and support.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your connected accounts to train third-party foundation models.

Our retention reflects how the Service works: we keep the intelligence (derived patterns, insights, and analytics) for as long as your account is active, and we keep raw source content only briefly.

• Raw content ingested from your connected accounts is retained for approximately 30 days, then deleted.
• Derived intelligence and patterns are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you request deletion.
• Account and billing records are retained as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
• OAuth tokens are deleted when you disconnect a channel or close your account.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze content and generate insights and drafts. AI processing is performed using Anthropic's API (our AI subprocessor). Content sent for processing is used only to provide the Service to you.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, each bound to protect it:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• The social platforms you connect (LinkedIn, X, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, Threads) — to read and publish on your authorized accounts.
• Anthropic — AI processing.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run and secure the Service.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you where required).

We protect your information with technical and organizational measures, including encryption of OAuth tokens at rest, encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege handling of credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

• Disconnect a channel at any time from your account settings, which revokes our stored tokens for that channel.
• Access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting kevin@ethx-ai.com.
• Close your account, after which we delete or de-identify your information subject to the retention above.

If you are in the EEA/UK (GDPR): you have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (which you may withdraw), and compliance with legal obligations.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the rights to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, contact kevin@ethx-ai.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe the law requires.

We are based in the United States and process information there. Where we transfer personal data from other regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

We use only the cookies necessary to operate the Service, keep you signed in, and secure your session. We do not use advertising cookies.

The Service is for business use by adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
